Ten model wyrósł z wojennego myśliwca G. 55, którego powojenną rekonstrukcję, na bazie G. 59, (podobnego do tego tutaj), umieściłem wcześniej. Włoskie lotnictwo używało G. 59 aż do 1965 r.
