Alpha Napisano 14 Grudzień 2007 Autor Napisano 14 Grudzień 2007 At Przebędowo near Poznan, there was until the end of the ninties a medium wave broadcasting station, which was active on 738 kHz with a power of 300 kW. Does someone have more informations on it? What kind of antenna system did it use? Where was it exact located? Was it also a jamming transmitter for Radio Free Europe? When were its antennas demolished? What is now on the site?
M164U Napisano 11 Kwiecień 2008 Napisano 11 Kwiecień 2008 I am basing my answer on what kopijnik2 have said and what I have translated and the links he provided. When it comes to jamming the RFE transmission there was no mention of Przebędowo near Poznan, only Wola Rasztowskia, Katowice, Wrocław and Szczecin. From what I could find the tower in Przebędowo was demolished in 1998, and it stood 103 m or some 310 ft high. Why are you so interested in radio towers anyways?
